Preschool Book Day cast a spell of enchantment over our young learners, fostering a love and excitement for reading that will undoubtedly stay with them for years to come. As the sun rose, our little ones arrived at school dressed as their favourite book characters, clutching their treasured tales close to their hearts.

From Nemo to the Hungry Caterpillar, princesses to Rainbow Fish, and brave firefighters to vigilant cops, our preschoolers transformed into the literary heroes of their dreams. Their faces lit up with delight as they enthusiastically displayed their imaginative costumes, parading around the circular preschool building.

Not to be outdone, our dedicated teachers also joined in the fun, demonstrating that the love of reading knows no age limits. Their vibrant costumes sent a powerful message to our young readers: the magic of books transcends generations. Principal Mrs Megan Storey transformed into a cult-classic character, Mary Poppins, ensuring the preschool stayed ‘spit-spot’ all day.

Preschool Book Day is not just a delightful dress-up event; it's a treasured opportunity to instill in our children the importance and beauty of reading. It's a day where imagination knows no bounds and where the pages of their favourite books come to life.

In these precious moments, we witness the seeds of a lifelong love for reading, sown, nurturing their curiosity, creativity, and a world of endless possibilities. Preschool Book Day, with its enchanting costumes and boundless enthusiasm, reminds us that the journey of a thousand books begins with a single page turned by a child's eager hand.
