Saint Kentigern Old Collegian Association (SKOCA) welcomes its new president Thomas Steel as he takes over the reins from Hayden Butler, following the AGM held on 29 June. A dedicated alumnus of Saint Kentigern College, Steel brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the association’s mission.

As the current National Supply Chain Manager at Big Chill Distribution, Steel's expertise lies in efficiently managing complex logistical operations and fostering collaborative relationships. His professional background equips him with valuable skills in strategic planning, problem-solving, and effective communication, which he now brings to SKOCA.

During his time at Saint Kentigern College from 1995 to 2001, Thomas established himself as an accomplished student. He took advantage of the many opportunities the College offered, including sport where he represented the College in the rowing programme for a number of years. He excelled in various leadership roles and developed a strong sense of community spirit which has carried into his present role.

Upon assuming the presidency, Steel expressed his excitement for the future of SKOCA, stating, “Having been a member of the Old Collegian Association for over ten years, it is an exciting time to take over the presidency from Hayden. Having been involved with the school as a student and now as a parent, it is great to see the campuses still holding true to many of the traditional values whilst providing an exceptional education to lead our children to the future. I’m looking forward to connecting with Old Collegians and growing the network of men and women of Saint Kentigern."

New committee members Sharnika Leleni as Vice President, Matthew Jones as Secretary, and Daniel Quigley as Treasurer also deserve recognition for their dedication and commitment to the association's growth and success.

With a dynamic new leadership team in place, SKOCA looks forward to building upon its legacy of fostering lifelong connections among its members and supporting the continued success of Saint Kentigern College graduates.
